can you keep a secret?

i think this time Sophie Kinsella really overdid herself. i think it was as good as or even better than Undomestic Goddess. that's coz i can't really remember how good Undomestic Goddess was already. haha.. Can You Keep A Secret is hilarious, entertaining, keeps you laughing all the time whilst there's some very sweet romance interspersed.

the story is about Emma, who spills all her secrets accidentally to this stranger on the plane. this guy turns out to be the founder of her company, who apparently remembers every single thing she blurted out to him... and who by the way is incredibly cute. and so the story goes...

i would highly recommend sophie kinsella's undomestic goddess and can you keep a secret. enjoy! ^^

melaka food!!

once again we went to melaka to celebrate the end of sem 5. this time there was: me, fiona, yi lyn, shu yin and soo fen. and thus the eating frenzy began. i put on 3 kg just in what, 3days?

the picturesque town of melaka
DAY 1:

lunch at the famous chicken rice shop at the bottom of the bridge. i still think '和记' is nicer.

adjourning to 'donald&lilys' after that for rojak and curry mee

dinner was duck mee and deserts. the bubur chacha was fantastic! best i've ever tasted.

of course, we could never go to melaka without tasting satay celup at least once! ^^

finally, roti john for supper
DAY2:

toast for breakfast

nyonya food for lunch

delicious tarts for tea

and dinner at the portugese village. delicious and cheap.

supper was nyonya cendol at jonker's street

DAY3:

no wonder i put on weight in just 3 days right? haha..

food in seremban ^^

As it is the period of hospital attachments, i have plenty of guests at my home waiting to try some seremban specialities. so, after cracking my head on where to bring them, these are the few places we've been to:

dry and soupy version of curry pan mee at 妈仔板面in kemayan square

plus they serve one of my favourite drinks - ambra

next was the famous fish head beehoon in Leong Kee, sikamat. i like it better than the one in AST. this is simply yummy and peppery..^^

along with other dishes at Leong Kee

one of my favourite dishes at Hong Kong noodle - spinach mee with 水饺

Kensington ^^

crispy aromatic duck ~ RM18 for 4 people

my favouritest mushroom soup in the whole world. you can even taste chunks of mushroom in it - RM 3.80

the main courses we took

steamboat with juniors ^^

since we were leaving IMU already, our juniors decided to hold us a farewell steamboat party. thanx to all you guys for the meal ya! ^^

the steamboat was held at sunway Yuan restorant. famous for its chicken wings. they actually calculated the time for each batch of chicken wings to arrive - 15 minutes! then they planned the strategy.. oxy would block the way, and the rest would spring into action. ^^

my cute mentee - ray ^^

sweet ^^

the universal symbol

all full and fed

new found 'heng dai's.. hehe

all girls say "cheese"

and everybody say 'hairy dick'!;p

next we adjourned to sunway pyramid to chill at the bistro
the drinks were pretty cool. the fruit punches were nice. i don't really like alcohol, even though the presentation looks nice. the atmosphere was cool too.
after drinks, the four of us went a bit crazy and refused to go home. hence, we went for a late night movie - my first, watching 'jiang shan mei ren'. what a sad show, nice though.
and that marked the end of the day. ^^
